Symbaloo Update march 22nd 2011

Symbaloo has been updated. During this update we have include some adjustments to make the use of Symbaloo easier.

Name of Website on Tab

You might have noticed that the title of the page you accessed via Symbaloo was ‘Symbaloo’ instead of the name of the page itself. We have resolved this issue. From now on the title that appears on your tab will be the title of the page you visit.

Set as Home page

Symbaloo gives you quick and easy access to your personal bookmarks. It will be even more convenient if your browser automatically starts with Symbaloo. We have developed a tool that helps you with this. You can start this tool by clicking ‘Set Symbaloo as Home page’ at the bottom of the site, or by clicking ‘I want Symbaloo as my Home page’ when logging in.

We advise you to create an account

We will give you a reminder to log in when we notice that you’re not logged on while making important changes. When you’re logged in you can use all functions and you can be sure that your settings are safe. There are a number of serious drawbacks using Symbaloo without logging in:
• Your personal bookmarks are only accessible via that specific PC, Laptop or iPad.
• It’s more difficult for us to help you when you need support for lost tiles.
• We cannot guarantee that your settings are safe because you have chosen to save them through your local settings instead of on a Symbaloo account.
