Tile descriptions are especially helpful when you’re sharing your webmix with others. Some great use cases include:
- Teachers adding short learning objectives or explanations for students.
- Teams writing usage notes so everyone knows why a tool or resource is included.
- Content creators highlighting key details about links, articles, or videos.
- Personal users leaving quick reminders for themselves about a tool’s purpose.
With this new feature, your webmix becomes more than just a grid of icons—it becomes a personalized, informative Webmix that’s easier to navigate and share.

How to Add a Description to Your Tile
Adding descriptions is quick and easy. Here’s how you can do it:
- Click on the tile you’d like to edit.
- In the tile editor, you’ll now find an option to add a description. Toggle on that option.
- Enter your text; this could be anything from a short note, explanation, or instruction.
- Your tile will now display the description.
Important: The tile must be at least 3x2 or 2x3 in size in order for the description to appear. Smaller tiles don’t have enough space to display text alongside the icon.
