Symbaloo Learning Paths Shutting Down – What You Need to Know
The Symbaloo Learning Paths platform will be disabled soon. Learn what comes next.
Dear Symbaloo Community,
We have an important announcement regarding the Symbaloo Learning Paths platform. After careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to retire the Learning Paths platform at the end of this year. While Learning Paths has provided educators with a unique way to create interactive lessons, we’re excited to share that many of its key features will soon be integrated directly into our main platform at Symbaloo.com.
Why Are We Making This Change?
One of the major challenges we’ve heard from users was that building and editing learning paths could be time-consuming and difficult to manage. With this transition, we aim to simplify and enhance your experience. By integrating the functionality into Symbaloo’s core platform, you’ll be able to create, organize, and share all of your resources—including learning paths—through Webmixes and Webspaces.
This move allows us to provide a more seamless, versatile, and user-friendly environment for lesson creation and resource sharing, all within one place.
What Does This Mean for You?
Unfortunately, existing learning paths will not be transferable to the new platform. If you have important learning paths or resources stored in Learning Paths, we encourage you to save or copy them before January 1, 2025, when the platform will be fully disabled.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Back up your resources: Save any important materials or notes that you need.
- Start exploring Symbaloo’s core platform: With the upcoming integration of learning paths functionality, you’ll have access to a more powerful and efficient toolset for lesson planning.

What’s Next?
We understand that changes like these can take time to adjust to, but we believe that the future of lesson creation and sharing within Symbaloo’s core platform will be far more intuitive and efficient. This integration will give you more control over how you organize and distribute content while allowing you to manage all your digital resources in one place.
If you have any questions or need help saving your content, please reach out to our support team. We’re here to help you through this transition and ensure that your materials are safe and accessible.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in Symbaloo. We’re excited about the improvements to come and are confident that these changes will make your experience better than ever.
Best regards,
The Symbaloo Team
